报告人简介： 刘志锋👌🏽，香港中文大学教授🫳🏻。学士毕业于武汉大学，硕士毕业于中科院福建物质结构所，博士毕业于加拿大西安大略大学。在加州大学柏克莱分校从事博士后研究工作之后➗👮🏿♂️，任教于香港中文大学化学系。主要研究兴趣在于化学反应的计算模拟💑，特别是溶液、表面与界面的过程。 报告内容： Solvation plays an essential role in chemistry and biological processes. Probing the molecular details of solvation has been a challenge in physical chemistry since measurements on bulk solutions typical produce only average quantities. Hydrated ionic clusters, with a solute ion surrounded by a few water molecules, have provided a special way to meet this challenge. They are produced and measured in the gas phase, and their solvation environment can be controlled by the number of water molecules. Using infrared multiphoton dissociation spectrometry (IRMPD), it is now possible to probe their vibrational modes. Recent works in our group have shown that the dynamic fluctuation of the hydrogen bonds is a key factor to understand these spectra. |
