报告人简介： 王志强教授是国际著名的非线性分析和偏微分方程专家，美国数学会会士、美国犹他州立大学终身教授。1986年在中科院数学所获得博士学位。1986年-1991年分别在北京大学、柯朗研究所、犹他大学及威斯康辛大学做博士后和访问研究工作。1998年至今任犹他州立大学终身教授。王志强教授在非线性分析、偏微分方程等领域做出了具有重要影响的工作，特别是他关于变分原理中的三临界点理论、带权Hardy-Sobolev不等式极值函数对称破缺以及非线性Schrödinger方程临界频率下集中现象的研究被认为是这些领域中的经典研究成果。
报告内容： We report results on existence of sign-changing solutions for coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. Various techniques will be discussed for constructing sign-changing solutions for this class of systems for which it is important to distinguish solutions due to the existence of a large number of different type of solutions. |
